One more pattern I had to squeak out. I have a thing for sock monkeys!

This is the Art Buyer magazine for the Surtex Show in NYC on May 16-18th. There is a two page spread about my agent and it showcases their artist's work.

Here is the two page spread with a very nice blurb about lil' ol me in the midst of it. My art is circled with the dotted orange line...
Here is what they said:
"We’ve been very lucky. One of our artists, fortunately the closest one geographically, has made it big in the last year.” Bert Bloom discovered Deborah Mori on the walls of a local cafe in San Diego’s North Park district. Recognizing her fresh take on inspirational art, he urged Goodner to visit the cafe to see her work for himself. The pair approached the artist to see if she had considered licensing her work. Luckily for all she was open to the idea and in the year since being with Studio Voltaire, she has produced two calendars (2011 and 2012), greeting cards, mugs, plates, metal signs, wall stickers, a children’s book and an entire end-cap display at Target. “Deborah is unstoppable! An amazing artist with a heart to match,” says Goodner. “We are so fortunate to have met her. She has come a long way in the last year and we are so proud to represent her.”

Awww! Thanks Bert and Gwynn! You're the best!
Thursday's Gratitude:
I am so grateful for life's little lessons that grow your character. They can be hard, but worth the pain!
